Zena is AVAILABLE for ADOPTION to the right home.

* Zena is intact (not spayed).  She raised one litter of puppies, but did not enjoy motherhood, so we did not breed her again.

* She is very healthy/hearty, athletic, loves people, and has been raised with our two little boys; she is very comfortable with children.  She is also an excellent watch-dog/protector.

* We raised Zena with her boyfriend, "Zeus," and they get along fine together.  However, we cannot be sure how she would adjust to life with another dog in the home.  Zena has no time for another female dog, so we prefer that she be the only dog in her forever home to be happiest.

Xena is our resident female American Bulldog.  She is dual registered with the NKC and CKC.  Her pedigree is an impressive one with family ties to

some of the finest Johnson Americans ever produced. 

She has numerous champions and some of Johnson's most prized and notable Americans in her lineage .  She is a great dog full of energy.  She is packed with muscle and drive.  She thrives off attention and care from  our family members but nothing gets her going like a kiss from my youngest son.  This girl can run for hours.  She loves people,  especially kids, but is also a very good guard dog.  She will alert us when a "foreign presence" is in the air.  She enjoys fetch and loves to chase around the red laser beam and  is determined to eat it.  I plan to start training her to compete in the show world.  With the proper training and guidance she definitely has the tools to succeed in the show ring.
